Cantor BioConnect is a contract research organization that manages every stage of a clinical trial. Their biospecimen procurement lab serves the diagnostic manufacturing and pharmaceutical industry worldwide. Through their clinical trials, this small-contract research organization partners with hospitals, clinics, and doctors globally to collect clinical samples for research and testing.

Challenge: Cantor BioConnect needed a clinical trial management system

Cantor BioConnect runs clinical trials for contract research. Initially, they used Microsoft OneDrive to manage their trials, but when sponsors started asking if they had a clinical trial management system, Cantor BioConnect realized it was time for an upgrade.

While the price was affordable, Baker shared that the ResearchManager team still made sure Cantor BioConnect received a premium experience.

“I think ResearchManager is one of the only companies that actually spends time to understand what their customers want,” she said.

Collaboration

During the implementation stage, the ResearchManager team examined the daily operations and needs of each department at Cantor BioConnect. Leveraging this detailed understanding, ResearchManager tailored a platform that perfectly suited Cantor BioConnect’s needs.

Cantor BioConnect and ResearchManager held monthly meetings during the onboarding process to monitor progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments. Within six months, Baker described their CTMS as “exactly what we needed.”
